Dr.
Rod Day, C. Psych.
After
receiving his undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of
British Columbia, Dr. Day completed his Masters Degree in clinical psychology
at the University of Saskatchewan and his Ph.D. in clinical psychology
at Loyola University Chicago. He has received training at the Centre for
Cognitive Therapy at the University of Chicago Medical Center and completed
a pre-doctoral internship at the London Health Sciences Centre.
Dr. Day has worked in a wide variety of settings including the Sunnybrook
and Women's Health Sciences Centre and the Centre for Addiction and Mental
Health (CAMH) in Toronto. He is a member of the College of Psychologists
of Ontario (#3633), the Canadian Psychological Association, the American
Psychological Association, and the International Society of Traumatic
Stress Studies. Dr. Day served as student Editor of the American Journal
of Community Psychology and has had his research published in the Journal
of Abnormal Psychology. He has also taught psychology courses at Mundelein
College Chicago, Loyola University Chicago and the University of Saskatchewan.
He has also received a faculty appointment in the Department of Psychiatry
at the University of Toronto. Dr. Day is also actively involved in the
supervision and training of doctoral psychology students
